Criterion text
The supplier shall have a plan to increase the proportion of recycled plastic in the imaging equipment and in consumables. The increase shall be reported to the contracting authority on follow-up meetings that are determined at the start of the contract.
Recycled plastic is here referred to as post-consumer recycled plastics.
Verification
The supplier must in his tender provide a brief description of how they intend to fulfill the condition during the contract period.
Proposed follow-up
Follow-up meetings where the increase of recycled plastic in the offered imaging equipment and consumables is reported. This can be done, for example, by:
- Reporting of the proportion of recycled plastic in relation to the total weight of plastic in the equipment covered by the contract.
- Reporting of the proportion of recycled plastic in relation to the total weight of plastic in the consumable that is expected to be used during the contract period. The report must be based on X prints / year (to be completed by the purchaser).
- Reporting the number of parts over 25g that are made of recycled plastic.
Versions history
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
