This criterion adds value to the products achieving better energy performance than the limits of Energy Star.
Points are awarded if the equipment has better energy performance (TEC-value, kWh/week) than the limit value in Energy Star for imaging equipment, version 2.0 or later, section 3.3.2.
The supplier shall, upon request, be able to present a verification, for example one of the following:
- Technical documentation, for example The Eco Declaration (ECMA 370), stating the measured TEC value for the equipment in relation to the limit value in Energy Star for imaging equipment, version 2.0 or later, section 3.3.2.
The contracting authority may request that the information is verified by an independent third party, where certification according to an ecolabel is not used as verification.
Check that the purchased products correspond to the energy efficient models required in the procurement.
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
