Boiling pans shall have at least 90% energy efficiency in accordance with the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufactures' (EFCEM) Energy Efficiency Standard for boiling pans or an equivalent standard.
The supplier shall, upon request, be able to present any of for example the following:
- Results from tests conducted in accordance with the EFCEM Energy Efficiency Standard for boiling pans or an equivalent standard for the boiling pan supplied.
- Product information sheet or the equivalent, where the energy efficiency is shown and is in accordance with the requirement for the boiling pan that has been supplied.
Check that the boiling pans that are delivered under the contract correspond to the energy-efficient models requested in the public tender. This can be done by checking the test results or the product information sheet to ensure that the energy efficiency of the product complies with the requirement. Any tests shall be carried out in accordance with the EFCEM or an equivalent standard for the boiling pan that is supplied.
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
