In order for the furniture to maintain its function during its service life, it is important that it is properly maintained. A prerequisite for this is that the manufacturer provides this information.

Criterion text
The supplier shall provide use and care instructions with information on how the furniture shall be used, cleaned and maintained to keep the furniture in good condition throughout its service life.
Verification
When requested, the supplier must be able to present for example one of the following:
- Use and care instructions that are provided electronically, for example on the supplier's website, or in paper form.
- Labellings that meet the requirement, such as a valid license for:
- Möbelfakta
- Nordic Swan Ecolabel, Furniture and furnishings, version 5 or later.

Labelling
If the requirement has been verified with labelling, check that there is a valid license for the product in question. This is checked on the respective website: Möbelfakta, Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
Documentation
Check that the furniture has the information specified in the requirement.
Versions history
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
