Griddles - energy use
This requirement contributes to reduced heat losses, which conrtibutes to higher energy efficiency.

Griddles must be equipped with a lid.
The supplier shall, upon request, be able to present any of for example the following:
- Product information sheet that shows that the requirent is met.
Follow up on the griddles delivered under the contract by checking that they have a lid. This can be done by checking the product information sheet.
Information about the criterion
Griddles should be used with lids to reduce energy wastage. For broader griddles (>80cm) there should be at least 2 heating zones. The main advantage with that is that when there is only need of half the griddle it is possible to heat only half and thereby reduce the need of energy.
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
