Information about the criterion
This criterion is used for textiles where there is a need for water-repellent or waterproof function. In many textile products, these functions are fully sufficient.
If it is necessary for the textiles to have a function that provides protection against dirt, oil, biological or chemical agents, see requirement ID: 11048, Textiles with dirt and oil-repellent function where such a function is required.
The version date indicates when the sustainability criterion was created or last updated. Last reviewed dated tells when we last checked that the sustainability criterion still is relevant.
