Combination ovens shall comply with the requirements for energy performance set out in version 2.2 or later of Energy Star for commercial ovens.
Verification
The supplier shall, upon request, be able to present any of for example the following:
- Valid Energy Star label for commercial ovens, version 2.2 or later.
- Testprotocol that demonstrates compliance with the energy efficiency requirements set out in version 2.2 or later of Energy Star for commercial ovens.
Proposed follow-up
Labelling
If the requirement is verified with an Energy Star label, it can be followed up by checking that the oven has a valid license. This can be done on Energy Star's website.
Testprotocol
If the requirement is verified with a test protocol, it can be followed up by checking that the ovens that have been tested are the ones covered by the contract and that they meet the minimum energy performance values specified in version 2.2 or later of Energy Star for commercial ovens.
Information about the criterion
The range of combination ovens with an Energy Star label for commercial ovens available on the Swedish market is quite small. The supplier can also verify that the requirement is met by being ready to present test logs that demonstrate that the oven meets the energy performance requirements in Energy Star, even if the product does not have the label.
